First produced for the Grande Brasserie Nationale in Paris in the 1920's, this is a Vintage Pillivuyt "Brasserie" Grande Brasserie Nationale Porcelain Restaurant cup with its classic French café beverage menu emblazoned in black. Made in France . The Brasserie pattern was created in the 1920's for the Parisian restaurant Grande Brasserie Nationale, 33. Rue de la Republique .33 - La Maison n'a pas de Succursale - that wished to have their menus on their dinnerware for the convenience of their patrons. The Brasserie pattern retains the original French menu with the original 1920's prices! Well made and very durable restaurant ware, the baked-on underglaze design is in excellent condition with virtually no wear to the surface.
